Are you fascinated by the interconnectedness of plants and animals in a stable ecosystem? The National Wildlife Federation Habitat Stewards program teaches you to construct certified, healthy wildlife habitats in your backyard and community – and to lead such projects in your school, workplace or organization.

Natural Biodiversity is certified as a Habitat Stewards Host, and staff members are trained to teach classes and guide local Habitat Steward volunteers in wildlife- habitat enhancement projects. Volunteers can be certified under the National Wildlife Federation’s program after formal classroom training and participation in habitat-enhancement projects. They may also serve as public speakers for the program if they desire to do so.

Become a Habitat Steward and make your community,
school or backyard a more natural place!
