How do bears and bunnies live in the woods? Just like you!

Home: Your house is your home. Animals’ homes can be in trees and logs, under rocks, in brush piles, or in holes.

Food: You find food in your kitchen. Animals find their food on bushes and trees, growing out of the ground, or running around.

Water: You drink water when you are thirsty. So do animals! They find water in streams and ponds and little pools.

Place to raise young: You have your bedroom. Animals also have special, safe places where they take care of their children.

So the four things that animals need are cover, food, water and places to raise young.
