Kristina Strosnider is the Assistant Director of Natural Biodiversity. Kristina is a graduate of the University of Dayton in Ohio, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with a focus on Environmental Ethics. Following graduation, she served a year of AmeriCorps with Learning Tree Farm, whose mission is to facilitate hands-on learning experiences in a working farm setting. Kristina also earned a Masters in Landscape Architecture from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. She has worked as an entry level landscape architect, independent contractor and director for a non-profit on projects such as stream bank mitigation, urban stream and floodplain improvement, habitat restoration, naturalized greenway, park and public space development, wetland and native planting plans, outdoor classroom design, water and habitat conservation education, and environmental education signage. Kristina is married to Bill Strosnider, an Environmental Engineering professor at Saint Francis University. She loves to travel and enjoys playing ice hockey, spending time outdoors, cooking, knitting and crocheting, and playing with her kitties, Pirate and Ninja.
