Are you a “big picture” person? Someone who enjoys
growing things? You may have the stuff to be a
Streambank Steward.

Streambank Stewards conduct surveys of plant life in
riparian areas and “full data collection” exercises where
all signs of life – plant, animal and aquatic – are recorded
in a given area. They also plant trees to improve biodiversity
in riparian areas.

They are taught basic compass skills, field logging,
sample-collection, tree planting and preservation techniques.
