When you encounter a challenge, do you tackle it? Natural Biodiversity is looking for people who will tackle the challenge of controlling invasive species. We call them Weed Whackers.

We’ll teach you how to properly remove and dispose of invasive plants such as Japanese knotweed, crown vetch, multiflora rose and kudzu.

Your efforts will help to maximize Natural Biodiversity’s
effectiveness and keep the use of herbicides to a
minimum. And you will have the satisfaction of working to
preserve our beautiful Allegheny environment.

Become a Weed Whacker and join the counterattack
against invasive plants! Sign up by clicking above.

For information, call 814-532-5049 or
e-mail NBD_Staff@naturalbiodiversity.org.

To date, Japanese knotweed has been removed from 200 acres of riparian areas.
